Today: NYC Marathon and Run, Amy, Run!

My dear friend and co-worker is running her first marathon today. I'm so proud of her and I'll be on the route later this afternoon to cheer her on! Run, Amy, Run!


Update: Success! There were 39,000 runners but we managed to see Amy and our friend Heather at the 300 Yards to Go sign in Central Park. They began around 10:30 and finished around 3:30. At the after party, Amy looked fresher than a daisy despite 26.2 miles through Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, into Manhattan, into the Bronx and back into Manhattan.
