Portobello Road vs. Avenue A

Angela Lansbury has found herself on some busy streets.  First was in the Disney movie Bedknobs and Broomsticks.  The Sherman Brothers provided the music and lyrics.   25 years later she was back on the street in Mrs. Santa Claus, a tv movie musical with lyrics and music by Jerry Herman.

The first is set in London and the latter is Brooklyn.  Both are equally delightful and feature immigrant culture - and even while one is set during World War II and one early 20th century, it's striking how similar these scenes are.
