Once a Cosmo Girl, Always a Cosmo Girl

Now and again, I encounter celebs in my commute to and from the Upper West Side. For the second time, I saw the original Cosmo Girl Helen Gurley Brown board the M10 uptown by the Hearst Building. She is definitely an old dame, but oh, she was still Cosmo girl glamorous, sporting a hot pink suit that featured a quite short mini-skirt and a fabulous red cape. She was as regular as anybody on the bus, except her regularness was somehow more fabulous. Her boyfriend Broadway producer David Brown was with her. She paid "two senior fares" with a little pouch of quarters.
