Audra McDonald said in her Live from Lincoln Center concert on Thursday at the Allen Room, "Lord, if Knew when I was growing up in Fresno, California that I'd be on the stage singing with Patti LuPone someday, I would have been a lot snottier to my teachers!"

I don't know much about Audra-did her teachers tell her she was only good enough for the chorus, as one of Sutton Foster's teachers told her?
