Tonight: A Broadway Show

Tonight: Grey Gardens. Yes, again. Thank you, Sister Litwit.

I defer to Litwit for the lowdown on the show. She uses words more beautifully than even the words knew how to be beautiful. I will say that changes since the first preview were for the better. It is still the second act that makes me want to see it again. The house appeared to be sold out. The audience was full of socialites and a few celebrities: Two of the Queer Eye Guys were in our row - Carson Kressley and Thom Filicia (whew, he is CUTE!), Janet Carroll (Aunt March from Little Women and Jim's wife on Murphy Brown), and best of all Tony winner Judy Kaye and David Green. We dined at Pigalle post-show where we ran into John McMartin at the bar. Only good sense kept me from tackling him and showering him with questions about the original Follies (and working with Lansbury in A Little Family Business and Murder, She Wrote).

I am going to try and stage door it tonight to get my playbills signed. I will look for you and give you a big hug. I would love to shoot you for my next celebrity and do a write up.

I liked the movie so much that I questioned my own (hetero) sexuality

I looked around a bit but nobody looked like they were looking for me so we bolted. So sorry to have missed you!
