What fun! Someone just recently asked me to name my all-time favorite musical and I said it was a toss-up between Gypsy and Guys And Dolls. Thanks for sharing!
Personally, I loveWicked, but don't think it's yet reached that pantheon of all-time greats. However, I do think it's on its way to legendary status.
I've written extensively about Wicked since starting Steve On Broadway (most recently here) and have even trekked to London to see the British incarnation.
Now I'm even contemplating trips to Germany and Japan just to see those versions (I already know the story well enough that I think I'll get the gist, even if in languages I don't understand).

Happy days are here again...in July of course.
Very appropriate post.

But what about Wicked? For the love of God, somebody talk about Wicked!

Wicked? Really?!
Yes, but I still prefer Gypsy by far!
