Sally and I attended our first Richard Tucker Gala on November 5, 2007. We vowed to never miss it in the future. We happily went again this year, but it wasn't filmed. Finally, the 2007 Gala aired on PBS on Monday night. Some kind souls have posted clips of the performances on youtube. Joyce DiDonato, our favorite Yankee Diva, not only flew in from Europe as a substitute, she hosted the PBS broacast quite excellently.
