Ash - Marian has had an amazing career. She's been in 100s of plays and movies. She's a writer - both fiction and on acting. She's a teacher - college including Julliard (among her students were Kevin Kline and Patti LuPone). She's a doyenne of the theatre and certainly its greatest champion. I fear it's unlikely that we'll see her in a production again, however she still does readings. Her voice is a miracle. I've been lucky to have only seen her in one play, Deuce, but I've seen her do a number of readings. She's also the kindest, loveliest soul you'll meet in the theatre and possibly New York City.
"The theatre can do things that you can't legislate, or preach, or make laws about. The theatre can do this thing of getting in, into your heart." ~George Hearn, Words and Music by Jerry Herman

This is sad...I only recognize her from that small role she played in The Haunting. CLEARLY I have some homework to do...;)
