It's the tale as old as time literally. Donny (sans Marie) is joining the cast of Beauty and Beast as Gaston, pursuer of Belle. With Donny being on the cusp of being a card-carrying member of AARP, the fact that Gaston must have the practically teenaged Belle for his wife is just a tad unseemly. Still, I'm taken back to my grade school days of idolizing Donny - I even had the Donny doll, who of course dated Barbie because she had a feeling even then that Ken wasn't really available if you know what I mean and well, Donny was a little bit rock-n-roll.
