Popcorn and opera? But I don't like popcorn. In fact, I detest it. The smell is objectionable and it gets stuck in my teeth. But I won't miss Metropolitan Opera at the movies this season! Imagine - it will be in HD with incredible surround sound. I can hardly wait. Still, I don't think it will replace actually being there in person - it won't replace the feel of the ticket, the nervous energy of the audience, the tuning of the orchestra, the rise of the chandeliers...I can't believe we have to wait until October to see Madama Butterfly!

Popcorn and opera? But I don't like popcorn. In fact, I detest it. The smell is objectionable and it gets stuck in my teeth. But I won't miss Metropolitan Opera at the movies this season!
