Quote of the Day

Today's "Quote of the Day" is contributed by my friend whose mother recently attended Bernadette Peters' concert in Aurora, IL. Her mother seemed more fascinated by her dress and jewelry than she was by the songs--and she was very interested in the songs. She must have been looking up her dress all night because she kept going on and on about how Bernadette had no stockings on and her legs were so muscular. This might be related to the pre-concert dinner: "My mother said, 'There was an open bar! You know me and and open bars!!'"
