Today, my Broadway Diva turns 60

I owe Bernadette. If it hadn't have been for the fact that I knew who Bernadette was because of the movies then I wouldn't have chosen to see Gypsy with Beth in January, 2004, and then Gypsy wouldn't have become my favorite musical and I wouldn't have gone to see it more than once which is the reason I met my Little Love Noah and I wouldn't have met some other great people and I wouldn't have started seeing so many shows because Gypsy gave me the Broadway Bug and I wouldn't have traveled to Boston, Houston, Peekskill, Bethlehem, Atlantic City, Bethesda or even Long Island to see her and then I wouldn't have met her at stage doors, signings, appearances and parties and I wouldn't have come to know such such a beautiful, wonderful person with a heart of a gold who never changes, inside or out. She has inspired me in many ways and I am forever grateful. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BERNADETTE!

Awwww, what a terrific story. And the two of you look great. I know exactly how you feel. If I hadn't seen "Beyond the Sea" and fallen in love with Kevin Spacey's singing, well, you know the rest!

OK, how is it even possible that Bernadette Peters is 60???? Seems like just yesterday she was the"It girl."

Happy birthday to a gorgeous, talented actress I've enjoyed time and time again!

That Peekskill concert was something, wasn't it?

Yes, indeed! Happy birthday! She, alone, has redefined what being 60 is.

She cannot be 60!!

What a great experience. Isn't it just awesome when the performers are caring and kind people?
