I'll be Lusty in the Month of May

In his online journal, Bari-hunk Nathan Gunn says he's doing Camelot with the New York Philharmonic in May. He doesn't say, but I can see him as King Arthur. Oh, I do hope it's a shirtless production as far as he's concerned!

The only casting news thus far is that Mordred will be played by the adorable Bobby Steggert who we saw in 110 in the Shade. Rumor has it that Audra McDonald will be Guenevere. I'd like to see either Cheyenne Jackson or Aaron Lazar as Lancelot.

I almost titled this post, "Dear Chris Caggiano..."

I figured it was for his benefit!

I was fortunate in seeing Mr. Gunn perform in Chicago at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park about 3 years ago. Quite a performance.

I saw him in An American Tragedy at the Met. It's my all time favorite opera. http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=2E9BF585F6851F34
