Isn't it amazing... the FIRST Broadway Revival! They waited a long time, didn't they, for this fabulous show to be offered again.

I saw South Pacific at the Shubert Theater in Chicago circa 1950 starring Janet Blair as Nellie Forbush. Great show. I had a front row seat, and I loved the guy with the coconuts for a bra when he sang "Bloody Mary is the Girl I Love." Now I will have to go to New York to see this. Cannot be missed. Wish I were there tonight!
