I'm treating myself to a birthday day trip to see Kate Baldwin as "Marian the Librarian" in The Music Man at Arena Stage! The Music Man is the first "Broadway" musical I saw live - I think I was around 12 years old, at the Globe Theater in Odessa, Texas. I don't remember much about it except for the band marching up and down the aisles. It was so exciting! Today, I'm most excited to see Kate perform live again.
